Growing and maintaining a beard vlog Pt2

A VPN is an essential component of IT security, whether you’re just starting a business or are already up and running. Most business interactions and transactions happen online and VPN

I promised you I’d do another vlog and blog about growing a beard. Here it is!

This time things are a bit different. First time around I had 26 days of untamed beard growth on my face. This time I trimmed it to a regulation 5mm all across my face.

I have to say this met with my wife’s approval. As much as Gill had grown to love my beard (this was very unexpected, she’s never been that keen on long facial hair), it was looking in need of some attention.

The trim came courtesy of a Braun Beard and Head Cruzer 6. This is a versatile trimmer that can be used to trim the hair on your head and face. It also features a small, pop-up trimmer, that can be used to cut contours or patterns in to your beard. Do watch the vlog for more info.

The other product I used in this vlog was lemon peel and peppermint beard oil from the Old Street Barber Co. This was mega-exciting for two reasons.

First of all Old Street Barber Co. has only just started trading. It’s so new it doesn’t even have a website yet.

I am the first person to review any of its products. If the lemon and peppermint oil is anything to go by, Old Street Barber Co. has a great future.

At this point in time you can only buy its beard oil from Amazon. Two are available, the lemon peel and peppermint beard oil I used and the other is based on argon oil.

A word of advice. When using beard oil, less is more. You really don’t need to use huge amounts of it, especially if you only have a short beard, as I was sporting for this vlog.

I hope you enjoy the vlog. I’ve got some more planned over the coming weeks focusing on summer grooming and skincare, haircare plus some fashion.
