With today being Easter Sunday, I thought I’d share a seasonal image of a daffodil. I hope you like the bright yellow of the flower and contrasting blue of the sky. I also hope you feel things are looking a bit more hopeful as we take our first steps out of lockdown.
With leaves falling from the trees and the skies having been grey for the past week, I felt the need to share this close-up image of a bee collecting pollen from a flower. I thought we could all do with a dash of colour.
Today I’m publishing a very simple blog post taken on a family day out: A Bluebell with a little sunflare!
When Izzy, my youngest daughter, saw this photograph and declared; “It’s beautiful daddy,” I knew I’d taken an image that worked! Better still, it showed that a really simple photography challenge I’d set myself had worked and I’m going to share the idea with you.
By rights this photograph should be a write-off but I’m quite pleased with he results. I took the image in some very poor lighting conditions so I wasn’t expecting great results. Every time I look at it, I see something I hadn’t noticed before. It proves that sometimes what matters is all in the detail.
