My youngest daughter, Izzy, has the most creative mind. The picture below shows her putting it to good use.
As you can possibly tell from the image, it was a glorious day. Having spent the morning inside, I wanted to spend some time outside with Izzy before going on the school run to collect her older sister.
I Informed Izzy we were going for a walk but the only way I could get her to agree was if we took two rucksacks full of soft toys. After a stroll through the woods, we came across this felled tree branch and Izzy insisted on unpacking all the soft toys and lining them up on top of it.
When she sat down with them, I just had to take a picture. That’s what you see here.
This, however, isn’t all that happened. Izzy had a story book with her. It was a French-language book about a dinosaur.
It’s well-beyond my capabilities, but using her imagination she read the book to the soft toys in pretend French before insisting I use my genuine French skills. I can assure you, her version was better.
I simply love this picture. It’s far from technically perfect, but the it’s so playful and shows off Izzy’s character perfectly.
I’ve linked the picture to the awesome #MySundayPhoto linky hosted by the Photalife blog. You can visit the linky yourself by clicking on the badge below and I thoroughly recommend you do. It’s without doubt one of the best linkies on the Internet. Thank you for visiting and enjoy your day.
