“Daddy, I don’t want to go for a walk,” said Izzy. We’d spent most of the day inside either doing domestic chores or at Helen’s gymnastics class. being a beautiful autumn day, I wanted the kids and I to get out and enjoy some fresh air, hence why I insisted we go for a walk.
As much as it pains me to wave goodbye to summer, there’s no denying autumn is well and truly here. A sure sign of it is all the leaves on the ground.
Earlier this week I had to spend a night at an amazing country house hotel in Suffolk. Having arrived well after sunset the previous evening, I hadn’t appreciated the opportunities it presented for autumnal photography.
