For the final My Sunday Photo of 2014, I have returned to Hever Castle in Kent. It’s the third time I’ve featured an image taken at this amazing location. It is such a photogenic place I suspect it’ll feature again in future! Anyway, this shot is of a fountain in the Italian Garden. I had
I’ve had this image knocking about on a memory card for a while. I took it back in August when I went to Calais on a day trip with my eldest daughter, Helen. It’s taken inside the Phare de Calais, the lighthouse that dominates the town’s skyline.
This was a very significant photo for me to have taken. It was significant for two reasons. Firstly, I rarely attempt wildlife photography. Secondly, I’ve been using a borrowed Samsung bridge camera for some weeks now and this was the very first close-up image I’ve managed to take without completely messing it up!
