Hever Castle in Kent is the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, the woman who stole the heart of King Henry VIII, but who was beheaded for unconvincing reasons a few years later. It’s a wonderful family attraction and Mrs Adams, Helen, Izzy and I used to visit all the time.
We have just returned following a short break in France. The four of us plus my mother in law stayed in a small town between Calais and Dunkirk and I went with all my camera equipment with the intention of getting some great imagery from a part of France that is both beautiful and full
We spent yesterday at Diggerland in Kent. One of the attractions the kids could drive were these small, battery-powered Land Rovers. Helen and Izzy couldn’t get in one quick enough.
I have barely had a minute spare to get outside with my camera, all my time being taken up as I prepare for my forthcoming jaunt to Australia. Yesterday, however, I had a brief break in my schedule and we had a family outing to Chartwell, the family home of Winston Churchill in Kent. The
