London skyline as you’ve never seen it before
This is a photograph I’ve been wanting to take for some time. It’s of part of the London skyline but I very much doubt you’ll recognise it.

With a blazing sun sitting low in the sky, river traffic travelling towards the camera and distinctive silhouetted spires in the distance you could be forgiven this photograph was taken in Venice. Alas the location was a lot less romantic: I was stood on the back of a Thames Clipper catamaran travelling down the River
I had a marvellous day in London with Helen and Izzy on Wednesday. having visited the V&A, Natural History and Science Museums, we caught up with Mrs Adams in the Hays Galleria for dinner. It was a glorious, warm evening and just outside the Galleria I was presented with this view of HMS Belfast.
Something odd happened earlier this week: I found myself in London with a spare couple of hours. I can’t remember the last time this happened to me, but I had my camera to hand so took myself off to Trafalgar Square to take some photographs.
I broke new ground last week. I went jogging with an Olympic athlete. Not just any Olympic athlete, but long-distance runner Jo Pavey who has competed in five Olympics.
