Earlier this week I decided to venture out into the wind and rain and take some pictures. It was a challenge to see what I could find to photograph in these horrible conditions and so after the school run one morning, I ventured off to Emmetts Garden, a hillside garden managed by the National Trust in Kent.
It’s happened! After months and months of stress, we have at long last moved house. This was the week of the move and with exchange and completion taking place very close to each other, it’s been a busy time. I haven’t had an opportunity to get out with my camera and so this image is another one from my recent visit to Leith Hill.
Keen to practice my photography in different locations, I jumped in the car while the kids were at school and took myself off to a National Trust site in Surrey called Leith Hill. I was totally chancing it as I’d never been before but it worked out well because it is a glorious location.
I don’t know what it’s like where you live, but we’ve had some glorious sunshine on the London / Surrey borers and temperatures have soared into double figures. The land is waking up after this long, grey winter and this was very apparent during a visit I made to Box Hill on Friday with Helen, Izzy and a friend of theirs.
