I pulled into the parent and child parking space and looked up at the sign. It clearly stated the spaces were designated for “parents and toddlers.”
“We’ll be leaving in five minutes,” I shouted to the kids, who were playing outside as Mrs Adams and I chatted to our friends. In a graphic demonstration of parental timekeeping, we eventually walked out the door and got into the car an hour later.
It’s been a demanding few months in the Adams household. I think we’re all in need of some relaxation and mindfulness and thanks to Vitality, I have a mindfulness exercise to demonstrate that will help calm your children down and get them ready for bed.
Sometimes I fall short of the standards I set myself. One area where I know standards have slipped over recent months is use of water. It being National Water Saving Week, I was asked by SES Water and Save Water Save Money to take a look at my water usage.
