What a week it has been. I have been very busy repeatedly zooming down hills on sledges with the kids.
For a few brief hours this week, the sun was high in the sky. I charged out with my Lensball to try taking some photographs while the light was decent and snapped this image. I can’t help thinking it looks a little like I have the world in my hand.
I’ve seen lots of marvelous images taken at the Lumiere London Festival of Light. Unable to go along, I organised my own Festival of Light in our kitchen.
Over the past couple of weeks my camera has travelled everywhere with me. I’ve invested in some new equipment and I’ve been snapping everywhere I’ve visited from rural Scotland to Central London. The images I am sharing in this post were taken on Boxing Day when we were in Scotland visiting my wife’s family.
With a blazing sun sitting low in the sky, river traffic travelling towards the camera and distinctive silhouetted spires in the distance you could be forgiven this photograph was taken in Venice.
