Earlier this week I visited a part of London I’d never been to before: Barnes. I took this picture of a pleasure cruiser framed by the steel work of Barnes Bridge at the suggestion of an incredibly patient and understanding blogger who happened to be with me at the time.
With a blazing sun sitting low in the sky, river traffic travelling towards the camera and distinctive silhouetted spires in the distance you could be forgiven this photograph was taken in Venice. Alas the location was a lot less romantic: I was stood on the back of a Thames Clipper catamaran travelling down the River
I had a marvellous day in London with Helen and Izzy on Wednesday. having visited the V&A, Natural History and Science Museums, we caught up with Mrs Adams in the Hays Galleria for dinner. It was a glorious, warm evening and just outside the Galleria I was presented with this view of HMS Belfast.
