I had a drawing competition with my daughters the other day. Helen loves drawing and it’s something her younger sister is increasingly getting into so it was a great way to spend time this way with the kids.
Earlier this week we went for a family walk on a nature reserve. The sun was beating down and my daughters, Helen and Izzy were struggling with the heat, so we took a break.
Reading is such an essential skill. Helen, my seven-year-old, is an avid reader. She loves books and particularly enjoys works by authors such as Enid Blyton and Roald Dahl.
