Another week has gone by where I have found myself either looking after the children, blogging or trying to progress our house purchase. In reality, I have, more often than not, been doing all three at the same time leaving me little time to indulge in photographic hobby.
You know that saying about criminals returning to the scene of the crime? That’s kind-of what I did this week when I took this image of the M25 just after sunrise.
You might think it was the sunrise that caught my attention when taking this picture. It was, in fact, the vapour trails left by aircraft, all but two of them following the same flight path in an easterly direction.
One morning earlier this week I noticed the sun has risen over some nearby hills. It was incredibly misty. This gave the sun a slightly eerie feel while also enhancing the natural beauty of the surrounding area.
Captured here is the sun rising over a hill near Chez Adams early last Monday morning. What caught my eye was the burst of colour where the sunlight was coming over the brow of the hill and the amazing colours in the sky. It also contrasts well with the dark silhouette of the trees.
