Last Friday, my evening got off to an inauspicious start. I did the school run, said goodbye to the kids and then bolted off to Central London where I was meeting Mrs Adams ahead of the Vuelio Blog Awards. It was a big night as I was a finalist in the Best Dad Blog category.
Picture the scene: it’s dark and you’re in a strange land. Every few steps you fall into a stream which can be difficult to get out of. You then hear a strange noise and realise a creeper, a zombie like creature, is coming towards you.
We all know London is full of major, family friendly tourist attractions such as Madame Tussauds, Buckingham Palace and the London Eye. Hidden among its back streets, however, are many hidden gems.
Over recent months, I’ve noticed a voyeuristic trend in the blogging and vlogging world. It seems to involve mums revealing what is in either their handbag or changing bag.
Picture the scene. It’s a grey, murky day. You have a seven-year-old child to entertain and your sister, who isn’t overly familiar with London, is making a rare visit to the UK from her home in the United States.
