I’ve just read a fascinating post by the author Kate Figes on the spangly new mumsanddadsnet.com blog. In the post, Figes argues that mums should back off a little and let dads take on more parenting responsibility. Figes states that she felt under huge pressure to be the perfect mother when she had her first
