This isn’t so much a blog post as a public service announcement. Dearest reader, I’d Like to point you in the direction of the Dadbloguk Pinterest site, which has just been given a revamp.

Having neglected Pinterest  for far too long, I’ve given the blog’s page a bit of a revamp.

You may have noticed I’ve been a little quiet on the blog over the past couple of weeks. Now you know the reason why: I’ve been spending lots of time over at Pinterest.co.uk/dadbloguk.

Well, I said I’ve been revamping the page. That’s actually a massive understatement. I’d neglected and ignored Pinterest for quite a long time. It was in desperate need of some TLC and that’s what it’s been getting.

I’ve added new boards, updated the profile and new content being added daily. I would love it if you paid a visit and gave the page a follow. Equally importantly, please do point me in the direction of your page or suggest pages and boards that you recommend I follow. There’s some great material on Pinterest and I’m sure there’s lots for me still to discover.

If you go over there, what will you find? There’s a new board dedicated to health and fitness. I’ve also added new boards focused on schooling and education and motoring and cars and motoring.

I’ve added a lot more content to the Fatherhood and Parenting board. With photography playing an ever larger part of my blogging adventures, I’ve also pinned a lot more content on that board.

Please do keep an eye on the page because the revamp is ongoing. I shall be going out of my way to re-pin other people’s content and adding a lot more of my own content in the days and weeks to come so do swing by from time to time.

As I say, I’d love it if you paid the page a visit. Thanks for reading and enjoy!

  1. I am as guilty. In fact, it’s years since I bothered with Pinterest. I don’t do bandwagons but it’s something that’s being talked about A LOT in the bloggin community at the moment. I really should get on this bandwagon!

    1. Dave, I just never used to understand Pinterest. I’ve spent a lot of time recently looking closely at how other people use it and I could see it played to my strengths. Hope to be pinning you very soon!

    1. Glad to hear you like the schooling board Tracy. Good luck mastering twitter. Probably a good idea to master them one at a time.

  2. I love Pinterest and yes, I follow you!
I try to Pin 8 Pins each day and it brings me lots of traffic to my blog. I mush prefer it to Instagram for example.

    1. Eight pins a day. Wow, that’s a lot! I can see the benefits driving traffic to the blog already. Why didn’t I do this years ago??

  3. I was trying to work on Mix, the platform that replaced StumbleUpon, but it seems like those views might be gone forever. I keep saying I need to try harder on Pinterest. Thanks for the kick in the butt to actually do it #thatfridaylinky

    1. Don’t feel too bad Kelly. it took me some considerable time to realise its potential! I’m very glad I have though.
