When I am quizzed about my life as a stay at home father, there’s a question I invariably face. The words may vary a little, but the question remains the same: “What’s it like being financially dependent on your wife?”
Over the years I have become quite accustomed to travelling with children. Not only have we made our share of overseas jaunts, but with family in Scotland and the Cotswolds, we are used to travelling long distances to see relatives.
As parents, we all spend huge amounts of time with our children. A question that’s been on my mind recently is how much of the time I spend with my kids is quality time?
I can’t believe another year has passed and the #BML16 blogging conference is just around the corner. It’s a particularly special event for me this year as I have, to my great surprise, made it to the finals in the Readers Choice category of the Brilliance in Blogging Awards.
When my wife was pregnant with our first daughter, there was one store we repeatedly visited to buy baby products; Mothercare (note the use of the word “we”, it is relevant). I think the same could once have been said for many couples, it being such a well-known name on the high street.
