Brighton is a place that brings back very fond memories for me as a father. It’s a destination we’ve taken the kids many a time. Despite Izzy, our second daughter, being a winter baby, it was somewhere we visited from time to time while Mrs Adams was on maternity leave following her birth.
A couple of weeks ago I posted this picture on my blog, it’s an image I thought encapsulated childhood perfectly. Going through a memory card yesterday, I found this picture, taken during the recent half term. Although technically inferior, I think this image also shows what childhood should be about.
The picture below was taken during a family walk the other day. Helen asked me to take her picture and struck this pose and it was too good-an-opportunity to miss.
As half-term neared its end, we paid a family visit to Tower Bridge in London on Friday. Being something of an engineering geek, I was very keen to learn about the bridge’s construction and how it works.
