Revive Active is a health supplement drink. It’s not the type of thing I would normally try but having just come out of the Christmas party season I was given seven sachets and agreed to take one a day for a week.

The drink contains a number of active ingredients. There are far too many to list here, 26 in total, but among them is:

  • Thiamine to support healthy cardiac function
  • CoQ10 (…whatever that is) and Vitamin E which work together as an antioxidant
  • Vitamin C to support the immune system and
  • Vitamin B12 to help promote good energy levels.

It all sounds very healthy. The ingredients have been carefully selected so the drink is suitable for vegans, coeliacs, diabetics and vegetarians. It is also gluten free.

The important question is, does it work? After several days of drinking it I have to confess to feeling more sprightly in the mornings and feeling more energetic. That said, I gave up booze at the same time as I did this test so I suspect this also had a part to play.

It’s certainly a refreshing drink although I personally recommend mixing it with a fruit drink as I wasn’t a huge fan of the melon flavour (that’s a personal preference and no reflection on the product itself).  You can buy online or from selected retailers across the UK. Expect to pay around £55 for a box of 30 sachets (one a day).
