During my recent trip to Melbourne, I was invited along to a new attraction in the city: The Pauline Gandel Children’s Gallery. It’s a part of the long-established Melbourne Museum and is designed to appeal to children aged from birth until five years of age.
Some years ago I spent a summer living in Brussels. Among the many satellite channels on offer at that time was Europsort.
For some time now, our eight-year-old daughter, Helen, has been wanting to go ice skating. It’s something she had an unsuccessful attempt at a few years ago, but with enough water under the bridge, she wanted to try it again.
Picture the scene: it’s a wet weekend and you’ve already spent a lot of time being active with the children. Regardless of the weather, you’ve maybe been outside and got cold, wet and muddy or maybe undertaken an activity like soft play.
