Taking a break from the summer sun
Earlier this week we went for a family walk on a nature reserve. The sun was beating down and my daughters, Helen and Izzy were struggling with the heat, so we took a break.

We recently visited Hever Castle in Kent. This was the family home of Anne Boleyn, famous for meeting a nasty end at the hands of her husband King Henry VIII.
I took this image of the River Thames while walking across London Bridge a couple of weeks ago. I didn’t expect the image to work out, but I was very happy with the end result.
Here is an image I recently took of The Shard in London. It was a big experiment as I was taking the shot directly into bright sunlight.
The other day I fulfilled a longstanding promise to my daughter, Helen. We travelled up to London for the afternoon and visited The Monument to the Great Fire of London.
