I rarely take landscape images, but this was an exception. When I find a photogenic landscape, I usually discover someone else has already taken the picture and made a postcard from it. I thought, however, that I would share this Highland landscape image which I took on our recent family jaunt to Scotland.
“I’ll be back within half an hour darling,” I said as I dashed out the door with my camera to go and get this long-exposure image of the M25 motorway. I arrived back home considerably later than this to find dinner going cold on the table and I was in a spot of trouble. Oh

What a week it has been! I think this photograph makes a great metaphor for the past few days: The calm moments represented by the sunflowers and the sky representing the dramatic moments, of which there have been one or two.
