Just the other day, I had to get ready for a formal event in Central London. An unavoidable last-minute outfit change meant I was scrabbling around for a tie and handkerchiefs. Had I opened a Christmas gift-package that had just arrived from men’s clothing retailer Samuel Windsor, I’d have found both items inside.
You might think that having moved to a new, low-maintenance home I am no longer in need of hard-wearing clothing because I wouldn’t be doing DIY or home maintenance any longer. I certainly fell into the trap of thinking this way when we moved here, but it hasn’t worked out that way at all.
Despite its English name, Eden Park is a French clothing brand for men. It was created by former French rugby union player Franck Mesnel back in the 1980s.
A quick look at Eden Park’s range and the quality of the products proves this is a higher-end label. There are plenty of other brands operating in this sporty / rugby / preppy arena but few seem to provide the same level of quality. It’s worth noting this brand is the official England RFU formal wear supplier. View Post
The other day I was driving through a nearby village at about nine in the morning. Casually strolling along the pavement was a mum taking a child to school.
Call me old fashioned, but I was slightly perturbed at her choice of clothing. She was wearing swimming costume bottoms, a crop top, sandals and nothing else. We’re all familiar with the phrase if you’ve got it flaunt it, but I’m not sure this should stretch as far as the school gate (or any nearby streets). It just seemed a bit, well, inappropriate.
