Picture the scene. I’m in a park with my kids. Helen, my eight-year-old, is sitting in a roundabout-style device with a couple of other children.
One of my biggest concerns as a parent is online safety. I have real concerns about cyberbullying, not to mention when the kids are a bit older, using social media networks and saying something publicly or publishing a picture that somehow lands them in trouble.
As we’re rapidly hurtling towards May I thought it was time to give you an update on our gardening exploits. There is good news: things are beginning to grow.
I recently had to describe how my family works to someone I’d never met before. Although I’m quite used to do doing this, explaining that I, a man, get the kids ready in the morning, take care of the grocery shopping, laundry etc. took a little time.
