Sunset over the Cotswolds
I’m taking a complete flyer by putting this photograph on the blog. It’s of a sunset I captured in the Cotswolds earlier this week.

This is possibly the most experimental photograph I have ever taken. At first glance it may not look like much, but it took a lot of effort to get an image of this candelabra reflected in a puddle.
I’ve dedicated a lot of time over the past year to improving my photography. Sometimes it’s a case of taking pictures of something interesting in unusual environments and so I’ve been experimenting and taking pictures of LEGO models in different settings.
Another week has gone by where I have found myself either looking after the children, blogging or trying to progress our house purchase. In reality, I have, more often than not, been doing all three at the same time leaving me little time to indulge in photographic hobby.
I took this photograph of a bee collecting pollen on a brief visit to a National Trust property called Emmets Garden. Having recently published an image of a flower taken in poor lighting conditions, I wanted to see what I could do on a sunny day.
