Having decided to sell up and move house, I haven’t had a huge amount of spare time to concentrate on photography this week. Even so, when my latest toy, a Lensball, arrived from the Netherlands on Friday, I simply had to take it out and see what it could do.
Over the past couple of weeks my camera has travelled everywhere with me. I’ve invested in some new equipment and I’ve been snapping everywhere I’ve visited from rural Scotland to Central London. The images I am sharing in this post were taken on Boxing Day when we were in Scotland visiting my wife’s family.
I haven’t had much time for blogging over the festive period. I have, however, been able to edit a photograph or two and I thought I’d share one picture that I’ve been working on. It’s one I took last week of the Imperial War Museum North.
On Thursday night I found myself in Central London at a good friend’s birthday gathering. As I left the pub I took this image of London’s South Bank.
With a blazing sun sitting low in the sky, river traffic travelling towards the camera and distinctive silhouetted spires in the distance you could be forgiven this photograph was taken in Venice. Alas the location was a lot less romantic: I was stood on the back of a Thames Clipper catamaran travelling down the River
