These two sticker books are based on the Cbeebies show Topsy and Tim. If you aren’t familiar with the programme, it follows the lives of the Odell family through the eyes of Topsy and Tim who are five year old twins.
Topsy and Tim Love Their Pets introduces readers to the concept of looking after animals. Ready for School, meanwhile, shows readers how much fun school can be.
This time last year I was looking for books about starting school as my eldest was preparing to go into reception class. It’s well worth considering for anyone that has a child entering the school system after the summer break.
So what are these books like? They seem very good, but I can’t really say much more. I did manage to have a quick 
flick through them but my five year old very quickly made clear they were her property and I haven’t seen them since!
I take this to be a very good sign. If she isn’t interested in a book it will simply languish unread in a forgotten corner somewhere.
With a price tag of £3.99 per book I don’t think you can go too far wrong. Both titles are published by Ladybird and available from Amazon and other retailers.
