Curious seagulls at the beach
With it being half-term, I took my daughters, Helen and Izzy, to the beach earlier this week. During our visit, I took this image of a couple of seagulls in flight.

By the sounds of it, most of us in the UK have enjoyed some sun this week. Seeing the sun break through the clouds one day while I was out with my daughters one morning, I fired off a shot to see if I could get a good image of it. Having taken this picture,
A short while ago I sent friend and fellow blogger Darren Coleshill, who writes the Photalife blog, a little email. I proposed we meet up and make a video together. The aim: to discuss the camera and video equipment we use.
We made the most of the Bank Holiday weekend yesterday and visited a nearby wood that was full of bluebells. While Izzy and Helen were running around under the watchful eye of Mrs Adams, I tried to snap some images of the flowers themselves.
You might think it was the sunrise that caught my attention when taking this picture. It was, in fact, the vapour trails left by aircraft, all but two of them following the same flight path in an easterly direction.
