With today being Easter Sunday, I thought I’d share a seasonal image of a daffodil. I hope you like the bright yellow of the flower and contrasting blue of the sky. I also hope you feel things are looking a bit more hopeful as we take our first steps out of lockdown.
It’s been another fun week in lockdown. The only thing that has noticeably changed is that amount of traffic on the roads. With the schools having returned, the roads are horrendously busy at drop off and pick up.
Is it too soon to start planning for summer? I’ve asked my girls what they want to do and I’ve made various plans in my head, I just haven’t put any dates in the calendar…yet!
It’s happened with a whimper rather than a bang, but remote learning has come to an end for my kids. The last time either of them was at school was mid-December and  while I appreciate we’re still very much in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, I see a number of reasons to be cheerful
We’ve had a second blast of cold weather and it’s brought us further respite from the monotony of lockdown. At the end of each remote schooling day, I’ve taken the children out for an hour or two and it’s given them a real chance to explore the great outdoors because there’s been snow and ice
