You know when you have one of those days when you have a large to do list and something happens that throws it into disarray? Well that’s just happened to me, for all the correct reasons!
What has happened that’s forced me to re-organise my day? Well, media specialist Vuelio has just published its annual list of Top UK Daddy Bloggers and to my great surprise, I’ve been placed at number one.
As an established blogger, it means a massive amount to know analysts have poured over my blog and rated it so highly. It’s also awesome to be in such esteemed company.
I found this year’s list to be particularly interesting. There were some very young blogs on the list, such as Corporate Dad. I’ve been blogging for almost five years now and the presence of newbies shows that a new generation of blogging talent is coming through.
It’s great to see younger talent developing. It shows the blogging scene is both creative and ever evolving.
Added to this, there were some very well-established blogs including DIY Daddy and The Dadventurer who were placed second and third respectively. The list is a great mix of young and old and each blog is unique in its own way.

I am, I have to confess, no stranger to Vuelio. I appeared on the same list last year, but I wasn’t ranked as highly. There is also the small matter of the Best UK Dad Blog Award that I won at the 2016 Vuelio Blog Awards.
Vuelio produce a range of different Top 10 lists. Among them is a list of mummy bloggers and parenting bloggers. Again, the talent is incredibly diverse so do check some of them out.
I have to say a huge congratulations to everyone on the Vuelio Daddy Blogger List. I must also say a big thanks to Vuelio for placing me in among them. And, of course, massive thanks to all my readers for your support. It is greaty appreciated.
I am now going to write another to do list. Only thing is, we’re hosting a play date for my daughter this afternoon so I may not get much done. I just hope my wife forgives me for ignoring the housework today.
