As the weather has taken a turn for the worse, you may be thinking about getting some warmer clothes and jumpers. For some reason, I’m not very good at buying jumpers and so I have very few of them.
Even so, there’s one staple I always keep in the wardrobe; a black polo neck. I accept that not everyone is a fan of this look, but I think it is a timeless classic.
The item I’m wearing here is from Woolovers and is 30% Cashmere and 70% Merino wool. It’s a very soft fabric and a very fine knit. With our central heating having been out of action for several days, I can also confirm this is a very warm and welcome addition to my collection.
This is just one jumper from the Woolovers range. The label has a very broad range of both men’s and women’s woolens. There are cardigans, jumpers, sleeveless tops, hoodies and even a small range of shirts. There are cable knits, chunky knits and Norwegian-style garments and they come in a range of fabrics including lambswool, British wools, Cashmere / Merino blends and even silk and cotton.
The stand out feature about Woolover’s product range is that all items are machine washable. As any wool lover will tell you, this is very rare indeed! I’ve generally always lovingly handwashed my woolens so it’s great to have a machine washable, woolen jumper at last.
The website makes choosing your garments easy. You can select items by neck type, fabric, gauge, colour etc. All the items are very competitively priced. I think it’s well worth a look if you’re looking to winter-proof your wardrobe.
In these images I was wearing Nudie jeans, Brogues from White Stuff and, as stated above, a black polo neck jumper from Woolvers.Â
Disclosure; I was provided with a Cashemre / Merino blend polo neck jumper for review purposes. Thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.
