For whatever reason the human race seems to have an issue with car parking signage. I saw these two signs in the same car park the other day and it had me in hysterics.
Why so? Well, my overactive imagination found the possibilities were endless. Was one bay reserved for unaccompanied men with children, the other form women in the same situation? Were these parking bays reserved for separated and divorcing couples who had joint custody of the kids?
Of course not, I’m reading far too much into it, but it did make me laugh, a bit like the time I saw these examples. To this day my favourite is the parent and child parking bay with the shopping trolley shelter built over the top. The irony of providing parent and child parking and then shoving a shelter for shopping trolleys on top of the bay was not lost on me at all!
