Aldi is not the kind of place I would ever have considered for buying winter clothing for the children, especially ski ware. Asked if I’d like to take a look at its youngsters’ ski range I agreed, but didn’t expect it to be up to much.
It was one of those times I was proved spectacularly wrong. Our eldest has been testing out a girls ski wear set from Crane while Toddler Adams has been kept warm in an infant snow suit from Avenue Baby.
The ski wear set came with salopettes and a jacket that is water and windproof and has a set of matching gloves. There was also a fleece jumper and she has loved the lot. In fact the jacket has become her favourite coat and is going to school with her every day
The infant snow suit is a one-piece item with a hood and gloves. It’s kept Toddler Adams beautifully warm over the past few days and she loves putting it on
We spent much of Saturday outside at a Christmas fair. The girls wore their respective kits and they were no complaints about being cold at all.
These items represent amazing value for money. The girls’ set is just £14.99 while the infant one piece is £9.99.
The embarrassing thing is we are not going anywhere near a ski slope this year. That said, I know both items will be heavily used over the course of this typical British winter.
If you need some new, winter outdoors wear for the little ones, I would consider this range. It looks great and is priced very competitively.
